YEIDA clears decks for 26 land allottees to set up their units
During the interaction, the allottees placed their demands before the authority, such as establishing a fire hydrant facility, residences for those working at the park and residential plots for the allottees.
Clearing THE decks for 26 land allottees to set up their production units at Medical Device Park, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) on Wednesday handed them over land deeds and other documents.
The YEIDA has so far allotted 59 plots at the park spread over 350 acres at Sector 28
At a meeting with the allottees, Chief Executive Officer of Medical Device Park Arun Veer Singh assured them of providing world-class facilities.
Singh said the Union Commerce Ministry was establishing an export promotion council at the park to facilitate the allottees in export documentation, and getting export and other grants. Informing that the administrative block at the Medical Device Park is under construction, the CEO said the authority would provide road, metro rail, highway, pod taxi and bullet train connectivity to the park.
During the interaction, the allottees placed their demands before the authority, such as establishing a fire hydrant facility, residences for those working at the park and residential plots for the allottees.
The authority assured them of providing all these facilities along with establishing two flatted factories (a group of small industrial units located in multi-storeyed buildings sharing common services and facilities and having their undivided share in the land) at Sector 28, making it cost-effective for the industrialists interested in setting their factories at the park.
The plots assigned to allottees vary in size — 1,000 sq metre, 2,100 sq metre and 4,000 sq metre.
The top five allottees with 4,000sq metre plots are — Auzein Medical Pvt Ltd (for establishing an orthopaedic implant unit with an investment of Rs 18.15 crore), Heidelco Medicore Pvt Ltd (for setting up an automated external defibrillator and oxygen concentrator unit with an investment of Rs 24 crore), Q Line Biotech (for setting up a similar unit), Ramsons Group (for setting up anaesthesia needle and kit unit worth Rs 15 crore), and Genuince Medica Pvt Ltd (for setting up of anaesthesia workstation unit worth Rs 18.5 crore).
Besides them, other allottees have expressed interest in manufacturing X-ray machines, ICU ventilators, gastroenterology and cardiology medical devices like oesophageal stents, biliary stents, plastic biliary stents, ECG machines, hemodialysis kits, etc.
